TomTom is therefore seeking to hire an experienced Threat Intelligence & Data professional who will support knowledge based and data informed decision making and constant shaping of safety, information security, data privacy and cyber security strategies and ways of working.
What You'll Do

Drive collecting and analysing various manual and automated data feeds and knowledge from all global businesses, products, technology, clouds, information security, data privacy, cyber security, risks, and others to create insights to support reshaping how TomTom implements information security, data privacy and cyber security now and going forward.
Support knowledge based and data informed decisions on the TomTom Information Security and Data Privacy strategy, by visualising data and enable change through knowledge of the business drivers that make implementation of Information Security and Data Privacy successful across TomTom.
Identify patterns, trends, and metrics from sources of raw data to steer the organization.
Understand how information is used today and determine future needs of reporting at the country/organizational and global level to support the work to develop the action plan.
Perform industry research, bench marking against internal TomTom results to steer the right direction of organizations.
Leverage information assets by data collection and processing, to provide basis for day-to-day meaningful and actionable strategic and tactical insights and to build overall situational awareness.
Support senior colleagues with problem solving for data quality issues from source systems and propose corrective actions for IT system or process improvements to step up data quality and timeliness over time.
Apply excellent written and verbal communication skills in storytelling, supported by visualization of data
Work closely with across other functions to help produce all required design specifications and ensure that data solutions work together and fulfil business needs
Making sure that the Head of Safety & Security Unit, Head of GRC and other senior stake holders are kept informed of latest trends and developments in the decision making, systems thinking, computational cognitive science, human behaviours, data models and artificial intelligence
What you’ll need
Strong, proven track record of self-directed learning
Education to Degree Level
Good understanding on Computational Cognitive and Data Science
Theoretical and practical experience from Artificial intelligence, Machine learning, and systems thinking
Good project & program management skills with process and cultural change implementation experience
5 – 10 years’ experience of the business value of data, and how transparent and ethical data processes build trust
Passionate about innovation in data, its potential risks and motivated to come up with innovative ways of working
Driven by finding win-wins, solving complex challenges with simple and value focused solutions
Ability to communicate complex issues and concepts using data from several sources in a fact-based manner
Strong quality mind-set and belief in data integrity with experience in Data and knowledge-based decision making
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trustful relationships
What’s nice to have
Good knowledge of building and maintaining dashboards and reports
Knowledge of cleaning data and how to deal with imperfections in data, including defining corrective actions to improve quality if needed
Knowledge of how to leverage large data sets in answering business questions
Knowledge in large datasets and of data set processes for data modelling, and production
Attention to details and with a flair for coordination and structure
Capability to work both independently and interdependently within the digital network
