SCM Strategy Director
We are looking for a high energy, experienced and focused individual to provide leadership and to drive significant growth in Supply Chain Management (SCM) bookings in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Oracle has invested in its Cloud solutions to support supply chain planning and operations, and has seen significant growth in pipeline and sales over the past two years.

The responsibilities of this role are broad and the challenges are demanding. You will provide structured guidance to enable our sales and business development teams to constantly deliver more – more revenue, more innovation and more value to our customers.
Design & run Sales/Competitive Programs: Lead the programmatic approaches & action plans from the definition to the execution, coordinating all stakeholders
Support Regional Sales teams: Definition of Sales plays and Content capable of supporting new strategies, competitive programs, transformational deals and marketing campaigns.
Strategy Leadership: Evangelising New Oracle’s value propositions, thought leadership in collaboration with Local Business Development and Local Sales teams. Delivery to Customer Events, Strategic customer meetings, Partner events.
Provide SCM and Industry thought Leadership to our sales teams focused on selling our Cloud SCM solutions
Provide direct support for key deals and customer facing events
Bring external market and competitor analysis to the Oracle sales teams, to build their selling effectiveness
Work closely with Sales Management, Sales Consulting, Sales Programs and with Global Product Management & Marketing teams
Ability to inspire, motivate, provide thought leadership and drive action through others
Minimum of 8 years’ experience of end-to-end supply chain management processes and best practices
Demonstrable strong experience across the following aspects: logistics, order management, warehouse management, PLM and integrated business planning processes
Experience in international responsibilities (+5 years) & large companies (+5 years)
Strong understanding of Oracle &/or SAP solutions, ERP/SCM market and SaaS Offerings (if possible INFOR solutions)
Ability to talk to C-level Executives (especially COO/ CIO), practitioners and experts in customers, consulting companies and partners on a peer to peer basis
Senior SCM Industry or Sales/ Sales consulting experience would be a major advantage, especially into organizations in the Manufacturing industry
Strong understanding of and passion for digital and emerging trends in supply chain applications, including IoT and the use of blockchain

Overlay sales personnel providing specialist product expertise to the sales force.
Partners with Account, Technology, and Application sales representatives to qualify and close new business on Oracle solutions. Provides specific industry or product expertise to facilitate the closing of deals within sales representatives territory. Interacts with sales team to architect the solution, and develop and execute solution strategies for market. Manages solution opportunities to obtain appropriate and necessary resources for all qualified opportunities. Leads teams in the sales process for establishing market visibility and deal visibility. Presents/demonstrates solution to high level clients and industry conference attendees. May provide training to field sales on industry/solutions. Builds and maintains a network and up to date specific industry or product knowledge.
Acknowledged authority within the Corporation. Provides leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. 12 years applicable experience preferred. Subject matter expertise in industry/product space. Knowledge of key industry leaders and management. Knowledge of Oracle competition. Presentation and product demonstration experience. Previous consultative selling experience preferred. Excellent communication, negotiating, and closing skills with prospects and customers. Travel may be needed. BA/BS degree in related field.
