Your new team at Genmab
As a Scientist, Mass Spectrometry within the CMC Science & Technologies department, your focus will lie on the in-depth characterization of antibodies to support early and late-stage CMC projects. You will be part of the Analytical Science - Mass Spectrometry team, responsible for providing versatile and advanced analytical support using our state-of-the-art mass spectrometry equipment.
You will supervise mass spectrometry based product characterization for early and late stage CMC projects. You will lead the development and optimization of mass spectrometry based methods. Finally, you will be responsible for authoring technical reports and the underlying data integrity in order to support IND/BLA filings.
Your new role
With your up-to-date knowledge and broad experience with analytical techniques, you oversee mass spectrometry-based analysis of proteins and peptides for identification, characterization, and quantification to support antibody development programs.
You will interact closely with diverse colleagues and contribute to collaborative projects.
You proactively look for ways to increase efficiency and optimize work processes.
You author technical documents to support IND/BLA filings and maintain the underlying data integrity.
You will keep the department up to date with the latest relevant scientific information regarding Mass Spectrometry based analysis of antibodies

Moreover, you meet the following professional requirements:
You have completed an MSc with at least three to five years of work experience or hold a Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or other allied disciplines with experience in the area of mass spectrometry-based analytics.
Work experience in a biotechnology company is an advantage.
A successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual who is well versed in both instrumentation and application of LC/MS/MS systems, protein chemistry, chromatography, and MS(/MS) data analysis.
You are interested in late-stage analytical characterization of antibody products and can perform high-quality analytical characterization to support regulatory filings.
You are flexible, well-organized and can lead several projects at once, and you are able to work to tight deadlines.
You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
You have proven experience working in teams.
You have the ability to work successfully under pressure in a fast-paced environment and with tight timelines.
You are a team player with demonstrated ability to collaborate with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders .
