As Technical Seller you will integrate the Multi Cloud Services TechSales team to support SAP systems Services business in a pre-Sales job role. Infrastructure technologies fluent, with hands-on capabilities, you earn client trust by demonstrating expertise in the technical domain and in-depth knowledge of the client's business requirements and technical environment.
Your Role and Responsibilities
Articulate the value proposition of technical services around SAP landscapes: SAP Basis & infrastructure managed services, transformations, SAP migration & move to cloud projects, automation project, technical consulting services (assessments, roadmaps, strategy…)
Support the business development: promote offerings portfolio, build demos and presentations, help identify and qualify new opportunities,
Support the opportunity progression: architecture high level design, sizing, identify cost-effective solutions, help the team to answer customer RFI / RFP’s,
Analyze/collect SAP requirements: non-functional requirements (NFR’s), sizing information, service levels,
Defend the services sales team proposition, from a technical and solution standpoint,
Share expertise and best practices during enablement sessions for Sales or Solutions teams,
Demonstrate offerings portfolio value proposition during external events,
Create and maintain assets (demo, POC, client decks, flyers…).
Travels in France for customers meetings (up to 40% average).
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Very knowledgeable of today’s SAP solution landscapes and databases used by SAP, you know all about SAP HANA and S/4HANA architectures, and technical components,
Capacity to talk both to SAP technical administrators, and Executives Managers,
You demonstrate a capacity to perform SAP sizing following SAP documented rules, design architectures to achieve performance goals, and perform capacity planning,
You master SAP Support documentation sources, and are keen to search for additional solutions sources in the SAP ecosystem,
You master the concepts of Public, Private, and Hybrid cloud, virtualization technologies, and understand infrastructure underlying for SAP systems,
You have expertise in High-Availability, Disaster recovery solutions for SAP environments, backup solutions, system management solutions, and can understand network solutions,
You have a good understanding of UNIX (incl. Linux) and Windows operating systems administration, and of storage subsystems used in infrastructure,
You like working in a team, have good interpersonal skills and you have good negotiation skills,
You justify an experience of at least 3 years around this SAP technical business.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Having certifications for one or several Public Cloud IaaS, SAP HANA or SAP S/4HANA administration certifications is a plus, and related trainings,
Act as a sales consultant who demonstrate first-hand knowledge of IT strategy and implementation,
Drive a consultative selling engagement, developing deep understanding of client’s business environment, analyze current processes, workloads, architecture, identify pain point and design a target model,
You show interest in other subjects (e.g., Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, Git Ops, SRE, IA ...), and want to apply them to the SAP environments.
