In this role you will be responsible for builds, installs, configurations, optimizations and maintenance of a global end user compute environment. This will include workstation operating systems, mobile devices, cloud technologies, and SaaS applications for enterprise-grade solutions. The team you will be on is responsible for evaluating, architecting, and administering new and innovative solutions for IDEXX’s internal global end user environment. The team provides end-to-end delivery of technical solutions, including but not limited to gathering requirements, converting requirements to technical designs, building, and securing the solution.

What You Will Do

Assists with maintenance of VMWare Horizon Virtual Desktop infrastructure through VDI builds, template maintenance, and remote app configurations
Completes software packaging requests for Windows OS through SCCM deployment and MacOS through JAMF
Assists with completion of Azure Single Sign-On new setup requests, configuration changes, and certificate updates
Works on and maintains End User Architecture incident and problem queue tickets
Assists with product lifecycle management and quality assurance review of key productivity tools, hardware, and services.
Assists senior team members with the evaluation, selection, and implementation of approved technologies that align with technical architecture, business plans and long-term strategy.
Participates in the exploration of innovative tools and strategies and how they can deliver IT solutions that align with technical architecture, business plans and long-term strategy.

What You Bring

Requires technical knowledge of Enterprise software and technologies
Requires highly developed presentation, communication, problem solving and negotiation skills. A thorough knowledge of enterprise operations is a plus.
Experience with VMWare Horizon Virtual Desktop solutions
Experience supporting, configuring, and engineering Microsoft Technologies including Microsoft 365 Suite, Windows 10 Operating System, Group Policy, and Azure Active Directory
Experience administering and resolving operating system and application issues with scripting technologies such as PowerShell, VBScript.
Experience with JAMF systems administration for MacOS
