    Sales Support Specialist

    Reports To

    This position will report to the Sales Manager. (In case of absence of Sales Manager, this position will report to the General Manager directly)

    Job Overview

    The core duties of the Business Development Specialist are to identify, design and execute plans that help the company’s business grow as well as develop new products, services and lines of businesses to increase and sustain that growth.


    Responsibilities and Duties

    1. Assisting in bidding or projects, attending customer meetings and following up with involved parties about their agreed actions/results.
    2. Developing and monitoring performance indicators for sales and staff members, managing sales/pipleline tracking tools, and compiling reports.
    3. Recording sales trends and liaising with account managers to develop sales strategies.
    4. Verifying revenue and profit/loss against system and financial records.
    5. Managing customer accounts, following up with customers and internal functions for administrative purposes, and providing troubleshooting assistance for AP/AR, credit limits, account statuses, and other problems.
    6. Performing data entry tasks for sales figures, metrics, and other relevant information and maintaining an organized and accessible filing system.
    7. Handling administrative duties for sales team, the company and its executives and management teams.
    8. Daily office administrative and management tasks, eg procurement and maintenance



    1. Bachelor’s degree in logistics, business management or related field.
    2. 2+ years’ experience working in logistics industry or related position.
    3. Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills
    4. Excellent English and Dutch written and verbal communication skills.
    5. Great teamwork and communication skills, attend to details
    6. The ability to travel to meet clients, attend conferences and research new markets as needed.
