    Sales Operations Analyst - Strategic Planning & Analytics, Uber Eats - EMEA

    The Sales Operations Associate role is a unique opportunity to work closely with our merchant sales teams in EMEA to drive productivity, effectiveness and compliance. Sales Operations is the nerve center for all things related to the merchants which join and operate on our Uber Eats platform with a primary focus on empowering our Sales teams in all EMEA markets to achieve their business goals. In this role, you will help build best-in-class, compliant sales processes, design standard operating procedures, and support cross-functional projects. In doing so, you'll make a direct impact by turning Uber Eats into the most trusted, go-to service for as many merchants as possible. Sales compliance is top of mind and you will work closely with regional leadership and have a wide range of stakeholders from different departments and countries.

    About the Role:

    The Uber Eats EMEA Sales Operations Strategic Planning & Analytics (SP&A) team enables sales and sales leadership to amplify their sales performance via robust analyses, sales plans, and automations. The SP&A analyst is responsible for building, analyzing, and communicating sales performance results to empower decision making & sales strategy.

    What You'll Do:

    • Develop business insights. Work closely with operations, marketing, sales, finance and teammates, globally, to identify important trends, problems and opportunities across regions
    • Work with Commercial leadership, Global Analytics & Sales Systems to analyze and improve the systems that help us understand sales productivity & merchant performance on the platform
    • Improve and automate processes: Identify administrative tasks that impede sales from achieving their target, scope & partner with various teams to build automations that eliminate the tasks completely
    • Sales Planning & Target Setting: Collaborate with in-region Sales Leadership, Sales Ops, Onboarding & Sales finance to provide achievable yet ambitious sales targets for the year
    • Analytics Support: Maintain critical reporting infrastructure to minimize downtime of core sales insights & dashboards

    What you will need:

    • 2 years of experience in Strategy & Planning, Operations, Analytics, Strategic Finance and / or Consulting.
    • Bachelor degree in related field required
    • Data-driven decision making mentality, sound business judgment, and the ability to back your analysis up with relevant analytical thinking.
    • Extraordinary attention to detail, particularly when it comes to validating numbers & metrics
    • SQL - Able to write SQL queries within their first month that benefit the sales teams
    • Exceptional data analysis/spreadsheet skills
    • Project Management experience - independence in scoping and facilitating work across remote teams to meet deadlines

    Bonus points if:

    • Experience with Salesforce. You should be able to navigate Salesforce comfortably and be able to complete an entire sales flow yourself
    • Ability to distill sophisticated data sets into simple and digestible takeaways for senior leaders and managers
    • Ability to thrive in ambiguous and fast paced environments.
    • A bias towards action, phenomenal collaborator and excellent simplifier - you're constantly pushing toward transparency and delivery
