This position will report to the General Manager of CTS Netherlands.
The core duties of the Sales Manager are to identify, design and execute plans that help the company’s business grow as well as develop new products, services and lines of businesses to increase and sustain that growth.
With a focus on sea freight import/export, develop local business and client base, by leveraging the whole CTS network and collaborating with other CTS branches. Achieve personal revenue/profit targets.
Build up and lead the sales team, achieve individual and team revenue/profit targets.
Set up internal process/regulations for sales management
Develop and optimize local resources in all aspects such as trucking, warehouse, customer broker and etc.
Product development and key-partners relationship maintenance
Prepare and execute budget plans, track business income and monitor costs/expenses
Perform daily office management when necessary
Objectives for 2022
Personal - revenue: EUR350K per month, gross profit: EUR35K per month
Org-growth: BD/Sales + 2ppl (KPI fulfilled)
Team - revenue: EUR800K per month, gross profit: EUR80K per month
Employee is entitled to a monthly variable performance-based commission, which will be paid quarterly in the first month of next quarter, under below terms and conditions:
Commission base = monthly gross profit achieved – (4 * base monthly salary) Commission rate = 10% * Gross profit from clients or projects within 12 months since first invoice date is calculated by 100% into commission base; * Gross profit from clients or projects after 12 months since first invoice date is calculated by 50% into commission base; * Gross profit from clients or projects older than 24 months since first invoice date, are calculated by 0% into commission base;
Terms & Conditions
Commission is only paid when below sales targets are met
Revenue target – sea freight (2022): €350,000 per month
Gross Profit target – sea freight (2022): €35,000 per month
Commission forfeits in case of below 80% achievement of any of above targets
*revenue from other type of business is also counted in as sales achievement *all revenue, regardless of the age, is counted in as sales achievement
There is no limit to the commission to be paid
Commission is only paid when relevant AR has been collected
Revenue from company-level VIP clients, e.g. Huawei, is not applicable for commission
