    Sales Manager Trauma, CMF & Powertools

    In this exciting role as Sales Manager Trauma, CMF & Powertools within our DePuy Synthes (DPS) team you are responsible for managing a sales team and indirect leadership of our clinical expert team, the clinic expert manager will report to you.

    In this role you will need to achieve sales objectives and greater market penetration for new and established hospital accounts ans you also ensure consistent, sustainable, and profitable growth in sales revenues through positive planning, deployment and management of your team.

    The Sales manager interacts and collaborates with all relevant internal and external (focus on surgeon and Key Opinion Leaders) stakeholders to pro-actively build a sustainable environment.

    Your key responsibilities:

    • Manages the development and servicing of hospital accounts to achieve business sales.
    • Reports sales results against forecasts to senior management as well as any adjustments made to business plans to ensure objectives are met.
    • Executes marketing and sales plans, drives and implement incentive parameters and sales goals, builds and drives strategic plans around products, procedures and New Product Introductions (NPI)
    • Collaborates with the Business Unit Manager DPS in establishing and recommending the most realistic sales strategy and goals
    • Leads a team to build a high performing, agile and customer-minded organization
    • Drive adoption of key processes and practices throughout the business, share best practices
    • Deliver change leadership based on growth strategies, ensuring effective communication and employee engagement, talent selection whilst minimizing organization disruption and ensuring continuous business growth


    Must haves: minimum requirements:

    • University degree (level Bachelor or Master)
    • Proven track record in sales and marketing roles and demonstrated business success
    • demonstrated people leadership skills: experience leading, coaching & mentoring a team
    • Proficient in Dutch and English
    • Can easily connect and effectively collaborate across a diverse group of business stakeholders in a highly matrixed environment
    • Strong interpersonal communication skills and influencing skills
    • Helicopter view and can quickly zoom in and out
    • Able to establish relationships based on respect and trust with customers, employees and internal stakeholders
    • Good understanding the funding structure of hospitals and to stay up-to-date about market developments in the Netherlands
    • Experience with contracting and tendering business (in wholesale, hospital and health insurers)
    • Knowledge of the current market healthcare landscape and environment where solution selling is the key driver
