Within ASML the Customer Support (CS) group is responsible for the maintenance, repair and continuous improvement of ASML systems at customer locations. One of the departments in this group is CS EHS (Environment, Health, Safety). This department supportsASML CS to ensure safe and healthy working conditions at the worldwide CS locations and for all the operations at customer sites.
To strengthen our team we are looking for a Safety Architect to support the CS EUV (Extreme Ultra Violet lithography) segment on safety of the service mix (parts, tools, procedures, training) and the safety issue resolution process.
As Safety Architect you are part of the CS EHS EUV team. Youinteract with the CS Competence Engineering departments to drive the safety aspects with the highest priority. You develop and explain the use of safety requirements for servicing of new platforms and you align with the Design and Engineering safety competences to set harmonized standards. Scope is CS EHS Worldwide programs.
As CS EHS EUV Safety architect you will support a wide range ofoccupational safety topics, including:
Drive closure of gaps in the Service Mix using existing processes (safety incident reporting, issue resolution management, Safety Review Board);
Do occupational safety reviews for specific maintenance actions and repairs (part of the CS EHSRisk Assessment Process);
Sign off of safety aspects of work procedures (Coach) before release (SIS/PLT process);
Being part of the CS Team for introducing the newest EUV Machine: EXE-5000. By deploying safety standards and providing support to the Competence Engineers team. Align with D&E safety, CS field on strategy to manage / eliminate hazard;
Be the competence content expert and owner for the agreed CS Processes and Hazard competences (to be determined which competences, this could be Laser safety or Hydrogen Safety).
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an engineering field or equivalent experience (mechatronics, electronic).
Preferably Degree in Occupational Safety (Bsc/NEBOSH) or comparable
Experience with solving operational safety issues;
