Responsibilities
- Ongoing maintenance of the database and ensure Docker deployments are up to date
- Automating tasks that are currently executed manually, implement/integrate new technologies in our Cloud Infrastructure whilst collaborating with colleagues
- Apply a real customer focus when planning deployments/updates, having the customer in the forefront of the mind and considering the impact on them before making these change
Skills
- Solid knowledge of shell scripting plus Coding skills - preferably Python or Go
- IT automation/orchestration tools knowledge - familiarity with tools/concepts such as Chef/Puppet/Salt or Ansible preferred
- Solid Linux (Preferably Ubuntu) knowledge is required
