The Rights Coordinator is a pivotal function between the Legal, Sales, Production Support and Finance departments. You coordinate and support the entire process around the contracts that Global Entertainment, ITV Studios (GE) concludes with international parties. You report to the Head of Legal & Business Affairs.
In this position you are the coordinator and signaler when it comes to contract and rights monitoring. You make an inventory of the rights of third parties that must be taken into account when distributing television formats and you record them centrally and indicate when they expire or change. You liaise with owners of those rights, both within and outside the ITV group, to report and coordinate certain contract provisions.
An important part of your position is the introduction of English-language format licenses. You will work in the Legal & Business Affairs department and interact a lot with your colleagues from Legal l and Sales.
Ensure the timely and accurate input, update and maintenance of contracts and rights information in ITV’s contracts and rights management systems to reflect new information and to apply updates to existing information;
Build and maintain relationships with all internal stakeholders (Legal, Finance, Sales, Content & Productions) and external suppliers, managing enquiries with a customer service led approach;
Capture, maintain and coordinate between departments of contract content information;
Preparing simple legal documents;
Correctly processing the administration surrounding the contracts in our rights management system;
Communicating the invoice orders per deal to Finance;
Monitoring the contract terms and ensuring timely action (s) on this.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
You are proactive, have good communication skills and it is not a problem to interact with various customers / colleagues. You are service-oriented and you work very meticulously. You are able to read and understand English-language contracts. You are used to working with different systems and you quickly find your way with new systems. You can also deal with work pressure and stressful situations.
at least 3 years of relevant work experience
IT Savvy, preferably with rights systems
experienced user of the PARIS systems (or equivalent rights systems)
attention for detail(s)

excellent with Dutch and English language
availability of 32-40 hours per week
