RFP Writing is a department within Global Marketing that writes Requests for Proposals, Requests for Information and Due Diligence Questionnaires. These are comprehensive and complex lists of questions used by prospects and clients to request information on Robeco and its products. Such questionnaires are often the first step in the sales process. The department is also responsible for answering any ad-hoc questions for the institutional and wholesale markets. Furthermore, RFP Writing ensures that basic information concerning Robeco is stored, maintained and made accessible via Robeco's Intranet platform Content Plaza.
You will be part of our client-driven team, which is the first point of contact for the national and international sales teams. You will give content-related support for client acquisition and will be responsible for answering RFPs and other information requests for the institutional and wholesale markets.
You initiate, monitor and manage the process of gathering knowledge and information and adapting it to fit the requirements of the requests you receive. You also ensure it is made accessible to others and kept up-to-date. You will apply your knowledge and experience in advising Sales. You work with Robeco offices in Europe, Asia and the US.

In order to succeed in this job, you must have an understanding of or a demonstrable affinity with investment products. You are not afraid to take initiative, are able to meet deadlines and can deal with different client types. You are aware of the information clients and prospects require and find it an exciting challenge to present this information in a clear and commercially convincing manner. Furthermore, you:
Have professional and intellectual capacities at academic or higher professional education level
Preferably have 3 to 4 years' experience in writing RFPs and/or a client support/sales oriented function within asset-management
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Dutch
Can work autonomously and in a team
Have good organizational skills
Are able to critically assess and modify texts.
This concerns an annual contract on a full-time basis (40 h/week)
