    Revenue Manager NL & BE

    II. TEAM STRUCTURE

    In the position of Revenue Manager you report directly to the Director Revenue Management Benelux. Our brand new Revenue Manager is a member the area Revenue Management team for The Netherlands and Belgium and you will be assigned to a selection Holiday Inn or Marriott hotels in this region.


    II. IN THIS POSITION YOU ARE
    You are charged with the daily Revenue Management operations and develop the long-term strategy. You will analyse market trends, rate positionings, seasonality, segment/ source mix and displacements and be held accountable for pricing, positioning and effective deployment of segment strategies. You are in close touch with the property leaders and ensure that their respective hotel receives best in class revenue management services on a daily basis.



    III. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Plan and execute revenue management tasks including daily reporting and inventory management.
    • Ensure hotels receive the Revenue Management deliverables according to the task / core deliverables list, which is established for each hotel.
    • Update pricing, positioning and deploy segment strategies following the agreed strategy.
    • Lead the coordination and planning on the 18 month total hotel revenue forecasting process and annual budgeting.
    • Identify need periods and anticipate adequately.
    • Produce reports, analyze data and pro-actively anticipate on changing needs and analyze competitive sets and utilize benchmark information to develop RevPAR index forecasts.
    • Lead group and contract pricing and displacement decisions.
    • Ensure Sales Strategy Meetings are planned and held with hotel teams.
    • Provide business evaluation insights and recommendations.
    • Maintain an active channel mix strategy (ranking, conversion and yielding)
    • Ensure a full funnel approach is activated and that conversion goals are reached.
    • Contracted business evaluation, Spec. corp, Wholesale, Contract etc.
    • Training and coaching junior team members.
    • Ensure that hotels follow the established distribution guidelines.
    • Various implementation projects / new hotel activations

    A. TECHNICAL SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Master or Bachelor degree in business administration, hospitality or other relevant field
    • You have already gained several years’ experience in Hotel Revenue Management
    • You have a proven knowledge of the wider Amsterdam hotel market.
    • You are a fast learner and you can quickly adapt to new and multiple markets and understand the different dynamics.
    • You have the ability to present a complex analysis which translates in actionable strategies.
    • You are a meticulous planner and deliver before the deadlines.
    • You have a proven record of strong technical and business acumen
    • You have excellent presentation and training skills
    • You are fluent in English and Dutch, written and spoken
    • Being familiar with the IHG or Marriott Revenue Management/Sales systems, tools and philosophy is a strong advantage.
