Our Retail team is on the lookout for a hands-on and meticulous Retail Operations Specialist to provide invaluable support for our global retail locations as we grow in 2021 and beyond. Your focus will be on improving every element of our riders’ VanMoof experience in our retail locations worldwide. You’ll work closely with our Brand Store managers and teams to make sure they’re working as efficiently and effectively as possible to take our customer service to new heights.
As our Retail Operations Specialist, you’ll be responsible for supporting the Retail teams by creating relevant communications and sharing your reports with our Brand Store managers and the Retail Operations team to help us gain insight into our own processes, and drive performance. You’ll be expected to continuously improve our in-store efficiency with creative new solutions, and you’ll work on various operational tasks over your time at VanMoof. Excellence across our procedures and retail locations is vital as we rapidly expand our retail footprint. You’ll play a key role in defending our DNA as we grow, making sure that we’re performing both consistently and at our very best across every VanMoof retail location.
What you’ll do:
You’ll provide daily support for our Brand Store managers and Retail Operations Team Lead in relation to our in-store operations.
You’ll maintain our high retail standards and work on solutions to improve our standards of customer service and boost our in-store efficiency.
You’ll provide our Store managers and Retail Operations team with different reports and information, including sales reports, sock files, training follow-ups, and visual merchandise checks.
You’ll collect all relevant information for our Retail stores and prepare store communications.
You’ll perform regular checks at all of our retail locations to make sure all our policies, procedures, systems, and the VanMoof standards of customer service are at their very best.
You’ll become a walking encyclopedia of all retail-related topics at VanMoof, so you can answer any question thrown your way.
What you’ll bring:
You have at least two to three years of relevant working experience.
You have experience working with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
You have excellent communication skills in written and verbal English.
You have a solid understanding of daily operations within a retail store.
You have meticulous attention to detail and you’re able to handle multiple demands.
You’re willing to take on new challenges and continually learn and grow within your role.
You’re a true team player with a flexible and unstoppable entrepreneurial spirit.
Extremely nice to have:
Bonus points for one to two years of retail management experience in a fast paced environment.
