We are looking for a professional with a strong passion for Store Design, Planning and Project Management.
In your role, you are safeguarding and reinforcing the recognizable presence of several L’Oréal brands in the Luxury Division. Today, we have different boutiques and shop-in-shops in the Benelux.
With a high level of follow up and visual merchandising implementations, store & concept roll outs, you will ensure that we excel in retail, consumer experience, openings, renovations and maintenance.
Since your presence in the field is of paramount importance, you will be flexible in traveling within the two countries. The base location will be close to Amsterdam and occasionally you will have meetings in the Brussels office.
You are part of the Retail Design & Merchandising team. On a daily basis, you work closely with the marketing, retail and commercial teams in order to push the consumer experience to the next level. You have many internal and external stakeholders, from international brand, clients, to commercial and finance departments.
Your key job accountabilities amongst others are:
You are in charge of the store/shop-in-shop design projects, and are able to create 3D renders of store lay-outs
You are able to develop the most inspiring brand stores & shop-in-shops in alignment with brand teams and within the guidelines of the local department stores
You are advising the commercial and brand teams in negotiation with retailers on the shop-in-shop strategy
You will safeguard the planning, budget and material forecast for installations of new and refitted stores
You are in charge of the tender process for furniture productions, keeping in mind a sustainable and cost-efficient approach
You are responsible for the implementation of new retail design solutions like Virtual Try On in store together with the brand teams
You will take the lead in roll-out projects like the installations of new brand concepts at our Retailers
You are in charge of the Capex (investment) budget for all brands in the Luxury division
You ensure an all year long engaging brand presentation for our stores and shop-in-shops
You are responsible for all maintenance requests in our shop-in-shops and boutiques
You keep close contact with our Retail managers and store staff to ensure the optimal brand execution in-store
You have at least completed a higher education (preferably in Architecture or Interior Design)
You have a minimum of 3-5 years working experience
You fully master 3D drawing (Sketchup, Vectorworks, or other)
You have a strong interest and experience in the Luxury, beauty and fashion retail
You have a proven track record in project management within a complex working environment
You have sound knowledge of brand management
You have an excellent command of the English. Communication proficiency in Dutch and French is an advantage
You like to work in a dynamic environment, where you can prioritize quickly, meet deadlines and exercise your problem-solving capabilities.
You are flexible and have a self-starter mindset
You have proven record of working with Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook (Photoshop and/or Indesign is a plus)
