Research Engineer Services – Professional Health Solutions & Services (CG60)
In this role, you have the opportunity to
Explore novel ways to deliver seamless digital services in the healthcare domain, translating these into first-of-a-kind demonstrators and transfer these onto business platforms.

You are responsible for
Translating requirements of the team (as prioritized by the Product Owner) into prototypes,
Implementing first-of-a-kind assets to demonstrate feasibility of novel techniques for service delivery to our stakeholders,
Creating the new messaging platform component, the application back end, extensions to internal and external AI services and system integration deployment, and
Transferring technical knowledge into the team and service/business organizations.

You will be working in the Professional Health Solutions & Services department, which comprises about 30 highly skilled professionals. The focus of the group is to provide relevant innovation for informatics, services and solutions in professional healthcare settings.
In the Service Innovation team we develop service delivery concepts to facilitate the delivery process for all stakeholders from beginning to the end. Our team integrates multiple digital communication components, knowledge sources and AI modules together with workflow UI concepts into a single, mobile application for all users. Requirements are driven by intensive co-creation with customers as well as Philips service agents with an ongoing pilot in place.
For this team we need a senior software engineer with a strong competence in communication technology and system integration. The location of this position is the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven, The Netherlands.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Bachelor’s degree in informatics and/or medical research
1-2 year experience in projects related to digital service delivery, preferable in healthcare
Excellent team player, entrepreneurial attitude, delivering on plans and commitments.
Fluent in written and oral English
