For one of our clients we are looking for a Research assistant.
We are looking for a motivated and pro-active bioinformatician to help us with the analysis, visualization and interpretation of data from preclinical projects.
The role is part of a cross functional team, with internal connections to the Gut Microbiology team.
As a Research Assistant in the Nutritional Programming team you will work on 16S sequencing data as well as physiological data related to growth and metabolism
You will analyse data from preclinical studies, report the results clearly and accurately, collaborate and communicate with team members to visualize and interpret the data, and contribute to the translation of discovery science into innovations
A Master’s degree in Bioinformatics or related field
Demonstrated experience in programming with R and R-Markdown/R-Shiny is essential
Demonstrated understanding of bioinformatics and 16S data analysis
You have excellent communication skills in English to interact with internal stakeholders
You are a professional, who can work independently within a complex and multinational environment
Furthermore, you are an open and transparent team player with a passion for science and discovery
Assignment for 3 months, 40 hours a week. Starting date September 15.
