    Regional and Supplier Information Security Lead

To continue on this journey we are looking for a Regional and Supplier Information Security Lead to join our European Information Security team based in Amstelveen.

    The Regional and Supplier Information Security Lead will be working as a primary point of contact for the various Canon National Sales Offices (NSO) and subsidiaries in the EMEA region, responsible for leading the implementation of Canons information security policies, performing audits, understanding the security risks and supporting NSOs and Subsidiaries with security remediation advise as needed.
    The role will also ensure security is embedded and reviewed in supplier contracts and is responsible for 1 direct report

    As the Regional and Supplier Information Security Lead, your key responsibilities will be to;

    • Translate security policies into security risk controls for new and existing IT projects and contracts.
    • Act as a subject matter expert with regards to Information Security and Privacy implementation in the various Canon EMEA National Sales Offices (NSOs), subsidiaries and suppliers.
    • Assist with the security awareness and training programs for the NSOs and subsidiaries
    • Coordinate and follow up on security audits (both technical and non-technical).
    • Manage and develop regular reporting on security posture in the NSOs, subsidiaries and suppliers.
    • Assist with long term security planning for the NSOs and subsidiaries
    • Keep abreast of current industry security solutions and trends and be able to apply to business and IT issues
    • Participate in other regular activities of the EMEA Information Security Department, including: technical and non-technical audits, change management, incident management, policy maintenance and adherence

    To be successful in this role as the Regional and Supplier Information Security Lead you will need to have;

    • Previous experience working in an information security, IT security, or IT audit role/department.
    • Experience with security auditing/reviews (for both technical and non-technical aspects)
    • Background in security policy development, training and awareness.
    • Presentation and training skills, the ability to translate technical and security "Jargon" to business and non-technical terms.
    • Fluent English, both written and spoken. Any other languages considered advantageous including: French, German, Italian, Spanish
    • Knowledge of privacy regulation (GDPR)
    • Knowledge of international security standards, such as: ISO 27001, CIS Top 20, OWASP Top 10, ISF SOGP.
    • Effective communication skills both written and oral

    Advantageous -

    • Relevant degree and/or information security and/or relevant certification in the field of information security (CISSP, CISM, GIAC, CISA, CRISC).

    Further Information

    There will be an element of travel required for this role which we expect to be around 10-20% of the time travelling between various locations across Europe.
