Uber Eats is looking to grow the Regional Operations Restaurants team in the EMEA HQ in Amsterdam. The mission of the Operations team is simple: make Uber Eats the preferred delivery platform for restaurants, couriers and customers in the 13 EMEA markets where we operate. The Restaurants team aims to provide restaurants with a superior delivery experience, and empower them to grow their business. As a Restaurant Operations Manager, you are tasked with shaping a partner access strategy around how to maintain a compliant restaurant base that adheres to regional and local regulations. We are always looking for ways to reduce friction for partners and mitigate business risk.
What You'll Do
Wondering what your day-to-day will look like? You will work on optimizing Compliance processes to help restaurants achieve their first delivery on the platform and set them up for success throughout their lifecycle. Mapping out the end-to-end partner experience and identifying opportunities to automate or productise processes will also be part of your scope. You will also work with a variety of stakeholders, gather their inputs and work towards an aligned approach.
The core activities of our team are focused around multiple aspects of the restaurant compliance process. We are constantly looking to improve existing processes related to PSD2 regulations. Besides process improvements, there is a need to expand our internal tools and Product functionalities, to make compliance protocols seamless for our internal and external customers. Finally, we aim to elevate our compliance related communication campaigns to optimize the restaurant experience on our platform.
We are looking for someone to lead the execution process and be responsible for the rollout of new tech features and regional initiatives. This is a highly hands-on, operational team with a regional scope. Take ownership of Uber Eats's growth in the region and do what's needed to get the job done!
What You'll Need
At least 3 years of operations, analytics, consulting, or other related experience
Exceptional Excel / data management skills. SQL is a plus.
Explorer - the ability to self-serve, investigate and get the data we require will make you much more effective in this role. A self-starter attitude is required!
Comfort with ambiguity. You are unfazed by executing on projects where all the information is not always available and priorities can change as more data comes to bear.
Balance attention to detail with swift execution - we need to do things quickly, and we need to do them well. Balancing those can be challenging, and this should be a strength.
Clear communicator. You are a clear and concise communicator with the ability to synthesize a lot of information quickly, highlight the important points, and disseminate actionable insights.
Ability to work with remote teams and across time zones to develop strategies and foster a cohesive and creative work environment.
