    Regional Operations Manager (Courier), Uber Eats - EMEA

    About the Role

    On the Uber Eats Regional Operations team, we serve the business and local markets by helping scale our most impactful processes and initiatives, support country teams, and drive innovation in the region. The Courier Operations team is responsible for building the tools and processes to make sure that Couriers onboard as fast as possible to the platform in a compliant manner. The Courier Operations vertical focuses on four core areas, which are Acquisition & Onboarding, Engagement & Winback, Compliance & Document Management and Equipment & Webshop.

    We are looking for a Regional Operations Manager who will focus on acquisition & onboarding to help create new and scale existing processes in order to allow the business to efficiently operate and grow. This person will provide insights to local markets and regional management through analytics.

    What You'll Do:

    • Create new and scale existing processes across the Region on Courier Acquisition and Onboarding
    • Provide insights to local markets and regional management through analytics, and dashboards around Courier Satisfaction and Engagement to drive retention
    • Ensure the interface between EMEA Operations and Product teams (gathering and structuring product asks, deploying new product features, tracking & follow-up on bugs, etc.)
    • Find ways to drive headcount efficiency in the markets, by centralizing and scaler courier related processes in order to simplify, standardize and streamline from a regional level
    • Collaborate with Uber Eats cross-functional teams in Amsterdam (other Regional Ops teams, S&P, Community Operations, Central Marketing, CRM)

    What You'll Need

    • At least 2 years of experience in Business Operations, Business Consulting and/or Investment Banking with a very strong analytical background.
    • You have an understanding of marketplace dynamics, adapting to a constantly evolving work environment, in the context of a fast growing company.
    • A Bachelor or Master's Degree, preferably in Economics, Business, Computer Science or Engineering.
    • Advanced analytical skills in SQL and Excel. Exposure to Python is a plus.
    • Proven experience interpreting and communicating data to various audiences; ability to translate quantitative findings into action plans. Understanding of experimental design and statistical methods
    • Strong problem solver and you are able to structure the challenges we face into concrete action plans.
    • Strong stakeholder management, with experience working in diverse, cross-functional and global environments.
