    What you will do

    As our Regional Manager for the Middle East you’ll be driving the commercial performance of all major destinations in the region. You’ll be based in Rome (Italy) and will report directly to our Regional Director of Central, Southern Europe & Middle East.

    By building strong relationships with attractions, museums, theme parks and other venues in the region (especially in the UAE), you’ll enjoy creating a strategic supply advantage for Tiqets and will be excited to maintain strong business relationships with existing partners and launch new venues and products in the region at a rapid rate.

    As an energetic and motivated team-player, you’ll be responsible for connecting new venues to our instant delivery and mobile ticketing solutions, representing the Tiqets brand in the region, and improving the quality of our offerings by working closely with our Supply Operation team in Amsterdam and the rest of the Business Development Team in Rome.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and secure a high quality portfolio in the region’s top market
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with new partners, offering a consultative approach in order to position Tiqets as the leader in online ticketing solutions for cultural and tourist attractions
    • Manage all the Middle East-related situations
    • Execute a strategy based on KPI metrics (attractions acquisition targets, tickets sold targets, margin per product, margin per order, etc.) devised with the Regional Director'
    • Regularly report on business activity and KPI achievements of the region
    • Launch new cities and venues in the region against an ambitious timeline
    • Optimize contracts with historical and top partners, negotiate (renegotiate) better contracts, better invoicing methods and better general working conditions for Tiqets
    • Expand the portfolio of top attractions by popularity according to Tiqets’ development strategy
    • Represent Tiqets in the local market, build the Tiqets brand and reputation with key local influencers (tourism offices, government, cultural associations, etc) and provide online ticketing expertise to partners
    • Build and maintain strong partner relationships through a consultative approach and position Tiqets as the most reliable solution for online ticketing
    • Ensure with Success Manager and Supply Operations Team Members that the new products (content, rates, availability and online visibility) are consistently optimized and competitive on the Tiqets site to maximize conversion
    • Define the best pricing strategy per venue or new destination
    • Make sure that the local operations run smoothly
    • Maintain a positive and dynamic teamwork environment
    • Report directly to the Regional Director Central, Southern Europe & Middle East

    Qualifications

    • Startup mindset and entrepreneurial style
    • 4-6 years experience in sales or business development with a proven track record
    • Native in English. Being fluent in Italian and/or Arabic is a plus
    • Highly energetic and achievement-oriented
    • Independent worker with a great sense of responsibility
    • Results-driven with a personal touch
    • Ticketing industry experience is a plus, as is a personal network in local city tourism
