Within our Business Line, Land Asset Integrity (LAI) this unique position encompasses two roles: QHSSE Manager and Regional Aviation Risk Coordinator.
As a QHSSE Manager you are in charge of the functional management of non-project QHSSE, including the responsibility for the management and reporting of QHSSE data. For the Europe-Africa Region, you fulfill the role of Regional Aviation Risk Coordinator (RARC), which includes the responsibility for the overall aviation safety, the aviation risk assessments on projects and the auditing of third party aircraft providers. Beside the important aerial safety component, you coordinate the various QHSSE duties within all service lines of LAI in Europe-Africa.
You are the focal point for the Regional Business Line Director with respect to all non-direct project related QHSSE matters in the LAI Europe-Africa region;
You support and mentor QHSSE resources to facilitate and implement improvement of relevant Global and Regional QHSSE initiatives and standardisation;
You ensure QHSSE Management systems are compliant with company standards, industry standards, QHSSE policy and local regulations;
You not only implement and monitor the internal and external audit and inspection program across LAI, but also conduct internal QHSSE audits in coordination with regional QHSSE;
You perform third party aircraft provider/aviation subcontractor audits and submit reports and applicable documentation to the Global Aviation Risk Manager;
You liaise with LAI service line managers to achieve a consistent and well managed approach to QHSSE stakeholders within the LAI Europe-Africa region.
What you bring along
You have a BSc degree in a relevant discipline and 5+ years of previous working experience in aircraft operations e.g. aerial survey operations;
You preferably have followed Aviation Auditing courses approved by IOSA and have 2+ years’ experience in a generic HSSE role;
Having a sound knowledge of Aviation auditing with specific focus on Specialised Operations (SPO) and Safety Management Systems and Maintenance (SMS) is considered a plus;
You have practical experience in mentoring/coaching others in safety aspects and possess effective and engaging presentation skills;
You have excellent communication and language skills in English both written and spoken;
You are available to travel to aerial survey business locations within the region for conducting site audits and attending relevant training if requested.
