    Project Manager, Customer Outcomes Operations

    Location: Amsterdam

    This position reports to: Senior Director, Customer Outcomes Operations

    As a Project Manager for ServiceNow on the Customer Outcomes team, you will manage projects that help operationalize high impact strategies that drive customer retention, business growth and operational improvements in the business. As the project manager, you will be responsible for the development of the project plan, ensure execution of the plan, control the project, and close the project. The project manager will adopt the organization’s consistent, rigorous project management methodology to accelerate the realization of benefits.

    Strategic projects can vary from short-term investigations to long-term transformational development projects. Typical projects require the ability to work in cross-functional teams comprising of leaders from business units and functional groups. You will also partner with leadership to drive business cadence, measure, and track critical initiatives, and assist in the preparation of content for Executive discussions.

    In this role, you will work on complex problems, gain insight into the strategic and operational issues which are forefront in the minds of the leadership team, have exposure to senior-level decision making, and establish relationships with people across the entire company.

    As such, we are looking for a Project Manager who can rapidly demonstrate impact and value to the team. To be successful in this role, the Project Manager will have influencing & leadership skills, an adaptive mindset, and an ability to problem solve. They will be able to function well in a high-growth, fast-paced environment and will be comfortable with ambiguous situations.


    • Preside over your projects at every stage with authority and responsibility, from its initiation, planning, implementation, controlling to its completion, and closure
    • Develop clear project plans with well-defined milestones and business impact objectives, and own and execute against those plans
    • Stay focused on team priorities, project deliverables and delivering outcomes for our customers
    • Use your decision-making skills daily, and ensure critical decisions are optimal
    • Adopt ServiceNow Customer Outcomes approach to determine appropriate project management methodology, execute using standardized tools, techniques, and templates as appropriate
    • Be a high performing member of our team, make thoughtful recommendations to improve our methodology, contribute to our artifact’s library
    • Appropriately and timely escalate as to meet project timeline and management’s expectations
    • Coordinate internal resources for execution of the project
    • Manage the relationship with project team and stakeholders
    • Ensure projects have defined project goals, identify success metrics, establish baselines, and ensure ability to determine project impact
    • Support management in developing key presentations and reporting for Executives and other internal audiences


    • 5+ years total work experience with a minimum 2-year project / program management experience in the enterprise software/technology industry
    • Be capable of seeing the bigger picture before putting plan details together
    • Services, Customer Success and/or Operations in tech industry experience
    • Experience in organizational change management
    • Ability to organize and delegate
    • Strong communicator both verbal and written, able to convey complex ideas in a clear, concise manner; able to establish effective communication channels with project team members, stakeholders, and leadership
    • ServiceNow PPM and SharePoint experience a plus
    • Effective at building relationships, collaborating, and influencing others
    • Strong team player who is also an independent thinker
