Earthwatch is recruiting a Programme/Office Manager to support our work in the Netherlands. This is an exciting new role that will be pivotal in establishing, delivering and growing our activities in the Netherlands. The role is offered as a part-time, one year fixed term contract, which we are hoping to expand and extend, contingent on sufficient growth of the project portfolio. Earthwatch started its presence in the Netherlands in 2020 and now has a small team of part-time staff in the country working on a small but growing portfolio of projects.
The ideal candidate is pro-active and practical - ensuring delivery of activities to a high standard – as well as an excellent relationship manager, able to understand the needs of different stakeholders. You have experience of organising a (virtual) office and managing effective teams to deliver results, demonstrating collaborative working across different teams, regions and functions. You are able to set and communicate priorities effectively and deliver project objectives to time and budget. You can effectively translate messages and processes between regions and create the processes and templates that underpin efficient project delivery.
