    Program Manager - Uber Payments

    About The Role

    Uber Payments BV (UPBV) sits within the broader Uber group and provides regulated payments services to Uber and Uber's customers in the European Economic Area (EEA). UPBV utilizes services provided by various entities both internal and external to the group.

    UPBV is looking for a Platform Program Manager who will be responsible for ownership of the UPBV new product review and approval process. It will be your job to refine and govern how UPBV reviews new Uber products launching in the EEA, provides payment related requirements and secures approvals for launch.

    We will be joining the dots between internal UPBV Lines of Business (Compliance, Finance, Legal and Risk) and the greater Uber organization Lines of Business (Product, Engineering, Operations and Regional Business Lines) to ensure products and features are in line with UPBVs licencing requirements in the EEA.

    What You'll Do

    • Monitor and track partner product launch roadmaps to align UPBV on product launch plans and deadlines.
    • Program Run the UPBV cross-functional (compliance, legal, risk, operations and finance) product review process to set, communicate and drive to completion payments related product requirements.
    • Handle UPBV product approval process with the UPBV Managing Board to ensure timely approvals are achieved and documentation meets required industry and corporate standards.
    • Clearly communicate product plans, challenges and payments requirements, as appropriate, to a spectrum of audiences, including internal partners and leadership teams.
    • Lead product status updates and dependencies based on key partner (Engineering and Product) priorities and roadmaps.
    • Taking a large ecosystem of Uber products with challenging priorities and creating a process that identifies relevant UPBV products and stack ranks them for review according to priorities and deadlines.

    What You'll Need

    • Experience working in an agile environment managing a large number of diverse partners.
    • Succinct Communicator - ability to break down complex issues and communicate at all levels in the organization.
    • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work productively with product partners and stakeholders in timely fashion.
    • Highly motivated! Ability to work under pressure and under your own initiative.
    • Ability to work in a cross-functional matrix environment.
    • Solution driven with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and deliver results.
    • Familiarity with engineering and development process; experience running technical scope, timing, and prioritization.
    • A background in consulting, payments or a regulated financial services environment is an advantage.
