    Product Sales Manager

    As Product Sales Manager – South America & Projects you drive the sales of the assigned projects you are responsible for
    As a Product Sales Manager – South America & Projects you are responsible for all South America ‘cab over engine’ Product Marketing aspects and will represent the Product Management team in selected DAF wide projects.
    • You define the Product Marketing strategy for Cab over Engine products in the South America continent (Andean region);
    • Maintain a close relationship with Sales, Dealers and Customers as well as relevant internal departments, making sure that current and future needs are identified and met;
    • You set and implement marketing communication initiatives in the South America continent;
    • You organize product and system workshops for the South American sales organization and dealer network;
    • You support the Product Marketing team in Brazil to determine the assortment and promotion, branding- and pricing strategy;
    • You support the Product Marketing team in Brazil on European product launches, cataloging and part number creation;
    • You participate in multidisciplinary teams (e.g. launch new Truck Sales initiatives), representing PACCAR Parts contribution to DAF wide initiatives and make sure the project deliverables are met on time.

    PACCAR Parts Europe (PPE) reports to the PACCAR Parts Division in North America. PPE works closely with DAF Trucks in Europe in order to grow the sales of spare parts to over 1,000 DAF dealers, TRP stores and customers around the world. To satisfy our customers’ ‘one stop shop’ requirement, PACCAR Parts sells DAF branded parts for DAF truck applications, PACCAR branded parts for PACCAR engine applications and TRP and vendor branded parts for applications on other brands of trucks, trailers and workshop items. PPE has employees in all major European markets and PACCAR Distributions Centers (PDC) in Eindhoven, Leyland, Madrid, Budapest and Moscow.

    The PPE Product Management department is responsible for implementing, creating and managing the product marketing activities for all brands of PPE. This ranges from identifying the need for expansions on the assortment, working with the Purchasing department to select suppliers, optimizing the marketing mix of logistics, pricing and promotion with the respective supporting departments and ensuring the continued sales success in the market together with the PPE Sales department.
    • You have a Bachelor’s degree with extensive knowledge and experience in the field of Sales and Marketing
    • You are commercially driven and have 5-10 years of relevant working experience, preferably in the automotive industry;
    • You are eager on identifying commercial opportunities and know how to exploit these in a decisive, appropriate and convincing way;
    • You are entrepreneurial, self-starting and proactive and you have a great sense of responsibility;
    • As a linking pin between all the different stakeholders you:
      • have strong communication skills;
      • are able to express yourself convincingly;
      • have excellent presentation skills;
      • possess the necessary analytical skills.
    • An excellent knowledge of MS Office and the English language are requirements for this position. Knowledge of Spanish and Portuguese are a plus.
