We're looking for a Tech Product Owner to join our Amsterdam based Web & Mobile Data Collection team. Our team is the link between the frontend development teams and the analytics and marketing teams. We manage the integration between 3rd party analytics and marketing services, and the experience layer of our consumer facing web & mobile applications in order to provide those services with consumer behavior data they rely on. We use tag management solutions to facilitate this integration and we work closely with our experience product teams to ensure the tag management tools are properly integrated.
Investigate analytics requirements, problems and opportunities, seeking effective solutions through contributing to the recommendation of improvements
Analyze IT, analytics, data governance and digital marketing objectives and the underlying issues arising from investigations into analytics requirements and problems and identify options for consideration.
Collaborate with IT, analytics, data governance and digital marketing stakeholders as well as our external partners to identify potential benefits and available options for consideration and to define acceptance criteria
Tag Management System Configuration
Assist in the configuration of our tag management system
Assist in deployments of tag management configurations
Requirements definition and management
Define and manage scoping, requirements definition and prioritisation activities for small- scale changes and assist with more complex change initiatives.
Follow agreed standards, apply appropriate techniques to elicit and document detailed requirements.
Provide constructive challenge to IT, analytics, data governance and digital marketing stakeholders as required
Prioritize analytics requirements
Provide input to the requirements
Maintain centralized analytics specification in line with the latest requirements
Look for redundancies and optimize the existing analytics implementations
Document 3rd party service integrations
Ensure data quality by testing the implemented requirements
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications
An affinity for data
At least 3-year experience in IT
1 year of experience in relevant area such as web development, analytics or digital marketing
Proficient spoken and written command of English
A good understanding of web analytics and digital marketing tools
A good understanding of web development, web analytics and digital marketing tools
Experience with Tealium iQ, Google Tag Manager, Adobe Launch, mParticle, Amplitude, Adobe Analytics or Google Universal Analytics
Bonus points for:
Participation in projects with people from other functions/markets
Good understanding of privacy legislation related to online data collection such as GDPR and CCPA
Experience with data quality frameworks and/or automated testing
