About the role:
Winning the US market is a top priority for Booking. The market represents a large share of business already, and yet is one of the markets with most untapped opportunities.
One of these opportunities is to increase visibility of accommodations across the products, via well placed advertisements. In the Booking Advertisements Solutions track you will be part of a team that develops advertisement products in all layers of our stack, from working on search & ranking, to building integrations with marketing partners & 3rd parties. You will be part of a fast-paced new product development team: build, test, repeat. Turning Booking into a marketing channel is an enormous task, full of exciting challenges.
As a Product Manager, in Booking Advertisement Solutions, you will drive the design, development, and implementation of advertisement products based on user needs and the company's product strategy and vision.
The Product Manager actively owns the product strategy and direction for the advertisement product area by understanding user, partner, and market needs and by working closely with designers, developers, analysts, researchers, product marketing managers, copywriters and others to successfully turn Booking.com into a marketing channel.
This is an individual contributor role supported by a senior product manager or group product manager, where it is possible to learn and be mentored by others to learn the skills, acquire the experience, and grow through development plans to become an expert at product management.
Engage with product, analytics and user research teams to identify user and partner needs across the globe
Be the voice of the customer and driving force behind product innovation and impact
Build relationships with stakeholders across the organization
Take full ownership of your product areas including prioritization, short term vs long term planning, success metrics, brainstorming with data scientists on ML models and deep dives with engineers on technical trade-offs
Empower and collaborate with your team to unlock their full potential
Prior Experience working in the advertising space would be an advantage
3+ years of Product Management in a (very) high impact, large-scale environment.
Knowledge of advertising solutions and the advertising ecosystem
You are an excellent communicator, love storytelling and able to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
Hands on with data driven decision making, qualitative and quantitative research, analytics, design prototyping
Passionate about building scalable products with solid understanding of Engineering and Technology stack used in e-commerce platforms
Creative problem solver who is not afraid of taking on the biggest challenges in the travel industry and break them into products that bring value to customers and Booking.com
Proven experience building B2B2C Products in an agile environment
Living and working in Amsterdam, one of the most cosmopolitan cities in Europe
