Global Products & Solutions is the main engine behind the product offering of our One Private Bank, specialising in development of Investments, Lending, Daily Banking and other financial solutions for the Wealth segment. As Project & Business Manager within the Project Management & Support department, you will be a key contributor in realising this ambition by working on strategy execution, projects, change- and business management activities related to the various disciplines of Global Products & Solutions.
You will operate in a complex international environment across multiple locations, multiple client segments and in a mix of cultures. Global Products & Solutions operates in a dynamic environment driven by changing client needs and regulatory changes.

In your role as Project & Business Manager your key tasks and responsibilities are to:
Initiate, coordinate and execute strategy related topics and projects (strategy execution) and to translate the (Private) Bank’s strategy to the Global P&S organisation.
Assess project requirements, demands, background and content of the assignment/initiative with all relevant stakeholders. Ensure that all requirements of internal clients are made explicit, challenges requirements in view of ABN AMRO targets, project goals and budget requirements. Assess and advise on potential risks and feasibility.
Formulate a plan of approach/roadmap and deliverables for the respective initiative/project in close cooperation with the responsible sponsor. Coordinate and implement project tasks, monitor the progress of the initiative/project and related deliverables.
Create management information and coordinate and execute a variety of communication related and business management related tasks.
Global Project & Business Management is part of the Global Products & Solutions department (GPS) based in NL, focusing on our segment Wealth. The following departments are also part of GPS: Investment Centre, Product & Service Management, Grid Investments, Fund Centre, Lending & Daily Banking and Wealth Solutions. GPS develops and maintains, in corporation with specialists from the different teams, investments and other financial solutions & services for the bank’s private banking activities in 4 markets globally, as well as for our retail banking operations in the Netherlands.
Global Project & Business Management is responsible for strategy execution, (strategic) projects and business management activities within GPS. Global Project & Business Management adds value to an optimal and efficient organisation of GPS by initiating, coordinating and implementing projects, change and transformation and by supporting the Global MT P&S and the business. This happens in close cooperation with the various functions and grids within GPS and relevant stakeholders / support functions outside GPS.
You will operate in a complex, international environment. In this context, you will work closely together with colleagues and management from the various countries and departments, depending on the specific project or initiative you are working on.
You are a generalist with a passion for our (Private) Bank, its strategy, our Wealth segment and product management. You know how to combine your generic and project management skills with required expertise, knowledge and customer focus. You easily manoeuvre between various (kinds of) stakeholders, multiple complex topics and have excellent communication skills. You are proactive, eager to perform and like to inspire others. University degree or Hbo with a minimum of 3-5 years of working experience within an business line of ABN AMRO, preferably within strategy (execution), a grid environment or product management environment. Experience within the segment Wealth and investments/asset management is preferred.
Experience with change / transformation initiatives, programme / project management and experience in an international environment (work, study or living).
Knows ABN AMRO’s strategy, vision, mission and that for PB specifically. Good knowledge of the bank’s processes and procedures.
Strong communication (verbal, written) and stakeholder management skills. Fluent in English language (verbal, written).
