Our Distribution and Instrument Service center is looking for a Process Analyst / Project Coordinator to continue supporting the rapid growth of our organization. Seated in Hoofddorp (Amsterdam area), which is our international headquarter location, we are on the center stage of our operations in the EMEA and APO region. The purpose of this very versatile role is to support the Supply Chain operations team with the increasing volume of project-related work driven by the growth of the organization. You will participate in and / or lead small and large initiatives and projects. Depending on the situation, you will be responsible for either the organizational and planning aspects, or the execution, or both.
In this Role:
You will be supporting continuous improvement in the Supply Chain organization, analysing and evaluating processes, proactively coming up with improvement recommendations
You will be building a solid business case using a problem-solving method and data analysis and taking an active role in driving the implementation of required changes
You will be navigating through matrix organization, building bridges across departments in order to understand the end-to-end process and accommodate the needs of different stakeholders
You will drive the change with a very hands-on approach, while at the same time keeping the bigger picture in mind and ensuring proper coordination of basic project management processes
As project coordinator, you will stay in close contact with all stakeholders and making sure that they are informed in an appropriate and timely manner
You will ensure that project structure is in place, document the deliverables and action items to manage them properly
You will be responsible for coordinating and supporting various smaller projects that are either part of a bigger project or one that is initiated by the team on the floor
You will manage enhancements and be the first line of support of critical tools and software in Distribution Center daily operation, such as Global Shipping Application
Examples of running and upcoming projects include mezzanine and conveyor system installation, WCS implementation, shipping solution software upgrades, SAP WMS enhancements, Voice Picking system improvements, 3PL setup, Lean initiatives, Global Trade System enhancements, etc.
What You Will Need to Succeed:
You will have experience in the field of process improvement and project management with a supply chain background and will have participated in, or coordinated several process improvement projects previously.
Ideally, you will be familiar with Lean principles and the corresponding toolset, such as the A3 problem-solving method.
You will have a data-driven mindset, and you are capable of analysing and interpreting data to identify opportunities to improve a process and build a business case to support it.
You will be a self-starter, comfortable with taking initiative in order to make things happen and follow through without waiting to be told what to do
You will be comfortable picking up small but critical projects as well as larger long-term enhancements
You will be Tech Savvy and have experience in testing and IT enhancements
Your English language skills are advanced. You feel at home in an international environment and can communicate in a professional way at all levels within, and outside the organization.
You will be educated to Bachelor level or higher
You will have experience in a distribution/warehouse environment
You will have the ability to work with limited supervision
Result-driven and sense of ownership
Excellent excel skills needed for this role
Familiarity with SAP is a plus
