Pricing Market Access Manager
For our Pricing and Market Access team at Novartis Pharma, we are looking for a Pricing and Market Access Manager with specific focus on HEOR and pipeline products. You will be part of our team of experienced access people, with the main responsibility to drive the development and implementation of strategies for all access, listing, pricing and reimbursement activities related to our business. This role has a specific focus on early HEOR (2-4 yrs. before launch) to support the market access strategies, development of payer engagement plans, budget impact models and price negotiations, with the purpose of enabling successful patient access for our innovative product pipeline.
As an analytical and scientific driven Pricing and Market Access expert, you are able to build the bridge between clinical trials (TMO), medical affairs and pricing and market access. You have the social ability to build effective relationships with important internal and external stakeholders, both payers, academics, and other decision-makers and contributes to align in an early phase and secure patient access.
Internally in Novartis, you participate actively in our cross-functional early access and brand teams and ensure the optimal alignment of access strategies with the other business areas of our operations.
In addition, you proactively identify and communicate changes and trends in the external environments and in the challenges and needs of payers relative to Novartis’ products, their decision-making criteria and their stakeholders.
Academic degree in health-related Master’s, such as health economics or health policy, life sciences, or similar;
At least 2 years of relevant work experience in the pharma industry preferable in a HEOR or Pricing and Market Access role;
In-depth knowledge of the Dutch healthcare landscape and healthcare system legislation;
Excellent understanding of data requirements for Dutch reimbursement submissions. Experience in writing successful reimbursement files is a strong advantage;
Ability to engage regulators on Pharma-economic topics;
Good IT skills – fast learner with digital and data;
Advanced communication and presentation skills;
Fluent in English and Dutch (oral and written).
