    Who are we?

    NHLStenden Hospitality Group B.V. is an independent management training company for Hotel Management School located in both Leeuwarden and Emmen, The Netherlands. NHLStenden Hospitality Group is looking for a:
    Catering Employee 0.8 FTE (NHG)

    NHLStenden Hospitality group is the community of five business units and supporting services; Notiz (Leeuwarden), Restaurant Wannee (Leeuwarden), Restaurant Stones (Emmen), Meeting U (Leeuwarden) and Catering (Leeuwarden). NHG offers a unique experience where employees, young professionals and guests are intertwined to create an inspiring working and learning environment. The reason for our existence is our student base and the fact that we have committed ourselves to giving them the best possible preparation for a successful career in the hospitality industry. Within a set service concept, co-created by the industry, we stimulate our students to experiment with and develop technical and soft skills while offering a first-class hospitality experience to our guests. We create a “Real World Learning” environment in which we introduce our students to best practices, trends and developments in the international hotel industry at an operational, supervisory and managerial level.

    Our Canteen department is divided in seven units, you will be working in one of those units. You can be part of our Catering department where we provide a variety of meeting facilities and of course other outlets such as Graduations and Receptions with a vast array of delicacies.

    We seek an individual who works well under stress and is operationally-minded. The daily activities will be carried out together with our students from the Hotel Management School and you will responsible for supervising, guiding and training these young professionals, where the intricacies of the profession must be passed on to them during their practice.

    What we offer?
    NHG offers a salary for this position depending on relevant experience and education within the scale VI-VII HORECA CAO per month for a part-time job. NHG also offers attractive terms and conditions including many opportunities in personal and career development, participation in collective health insurance and an employee vitality plan. The position is initially for a period of one year but can be extended after successful completion of this period.
