    Job Description

    In this role you have the opportunity to

    build and shape our platform business throughout Philips. You will be working with all Philips clusters and our technical specialists and architects to drive the platform approach for test and verification engineering in Philips.

    You are responsible for

    As a Platform program lead - Test and Verification engineering you will:

    • Build and maintain the critical initiative around platformization and reselve the ways of working
    • Be working closely with business leaders in our clusters do define the need of our platformization approach in test and verification engineering. This in order to improve the impact of this approach
    • In consultation with our Technical specialists and Architects you will formulate the overall program plan and verify it with our most important internal partners
    • Along the way you will provide your management and partners in the clusters with

    regular status updates and take corrective actions if necessary

    • You will be coordinating the communication between the different platform sub-projects and drive interfaces between different customer projects
    • As a Program Lead, you will be organizing the resources to be used (time, budget and information)- as well as actively handling risks of the program and develop scenarios to mitigate these
    • You will be driving business development activities throughout the whole of Philips to spread the word about our platformization approach in test and verification engineering in order to get as many internal customers as possible.

    The Test and Verification Engineering team is part of the Reliability Solutions department of Philips Innovation Services and is a diverse group of more than 20 technical specialists.

    All have extensive experience in the field of test and verification strategy definition, requirement engineering and/or test automation and are actively supporting complex, innovative projects for our customers from both internal Philips businesses, as well as, external companies, located all over the world.

    Philips Innovation Services is located on the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven (the Netherlands) and

    draws upon a huge range of resources and know-how to support our customers in bringing their innovations to market, as fast and as efficiently possible. Our pragmatic technology specialists and consultants benefit from decades of experience supporting customers in Philips Businesses, Philips Research and hundreds of companies outside Philips.     To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

    • Master degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
    • Min of 5 years project/program management experience in multi-disciplinary projects within the regulated industry
    • Strong Project Management skills, PMI/PMP certified is a plus
    • Excellent consultancy skills and the ability to connect with project and business stakeholders partners (customer focused, excellent communication skills)
    • We are looking for a motivated, self-driven individual with an entrepreneurial mind-set, experienced in business development and the ability to adapt to change
    • Fluent in English
