In this role, you have the opportunity to:
Be responsible for driving one of the most important strategic channels for Philips, the Consumer Store, in the European market, with the focus on offering the right assortment at the right moment to the right consumer. Together with your team, you will deliver the commercial performance of the online merchandising features across the consumer portfolio of Philips. You will work closely with the European Personal Health Consumer Marketing, Digital Marketing, BMM teams and demand planning, to ensure the right offer and portfolio. In collaboration with the digital hub you will execute successful campaigns, using data to drive insight into category performance and to make commercial recommendations and implement actions.
This position will be based in The Netherlands
You are responsible for:
P&L of Philips Store EU, via growing the sales and digital performance and optimizing A&P investments dedicated to the Philips Store
Defining the strategy & activations for the Philips Store
Together with your team, implementing the merchandising strategy in close collaboration with your stakeholders. You drive, inspire and organize your team and stakeholders in a way that all pages are effectively merchandised, best sellers are built and content and engaging stories are delivered based on key trends.
Analysing portfolio data and making proposals for improvement of the consumer decision journey, conversion and basket value. Identifying, suggesting and enrolling promotional activities to drive sales opportunities whilst mitigating risk to margin
Ensuring accuracy for all aspects of our products, including set up, pricing, categorisation, ranking, upsell / cross sell online, listing new products and optimising web conversion, through product availability and activation
Understanding the consumer needs & translating them into a merchandising strategy for the Philips Store
Creating/optimizing procedures for content creation, category landing pages & campaigns and implementing these in collaboration with digital marketing, Cluster marketing and global DMEC teams.
Ensuring good representation of the Philips consumer business on all digital touchpoint, on the Philips.com page and in campaigns and promotions.

The new European Market leadership team for Personal Health (PH) led by Marlies Gebetsberger. This team will be responsible for the transformation and innovation in the Personal Health business of our market Europe. To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
Real team player as well as a results-driven “can do” mentality
Stakeholder management and influencing skills
A minimum of 12 years’ experience in e-commerce roles in Europe
Experience in/knowledge of the e-commerce business model, direct to consumer interaction and engagement and digital marketing activation
Proven track record in building strong, long-lasting commercial partnerships
Proven commercial success in working with different audiences and shopper profiles
Experienced in change management and continuous improvement
International experience required
Business fluency in English, both written and verbal
A willingness to travel (25%)
