As Personalization & Loyalty Manager, you work with all Ahold Delhaize brands to bring our loyalty offerings to the next level and build meaningful connections with our digital customers.
As our new Personalization & Loyalty Manager you are the designated person to support and drive our brands in developing, executing and maintaining their personalized digital loyalty strategies. And with success: you provide thought leadership on strengthening the omni-channel presence of our brands, creating online and real-time engagement and growing emotional loyalty. In addition, you promote and optimize scaling up and knowledge sharing between our brands and possibly also between different regions. You also have extensive experience in collaborating and coordinating with various stakeholders spread across a complex organization.

making sure our brands always stay at the forefront of customer engagement and customer relationship management. You optimize our customer lifecycles by driving personalization and loyalty strategies, ensuring consistent messaging toward customers, and helping to deliver ambitious sales goals.
supporting and driving optimal management of the customer shopping journey by our brands through omni-channel engagement before, during and after shopping to create hyper-personalized relationships with our customers for long term profitable sales growth.
managing and harnessing the power and expertise of our Personalization & Loyalty teams across all our brands, to ensure all brands can offer outstanding services to enable their strategy and personalization capabilities.
providing strategic digital initiative management to ensure a good cooperation between Personalization & Loyalty teams and marketing leadership teams. You understand and ensure synergies between key digital tracks, and work in maximum alignment with key functional teams.

Your new workplace will be at our bustling head office, right next to the Zaandam train station. More specifically, on the 5th floor in the Global Support Office in the Global & EU Digital department. You will be part of our Personalization & Loyalty team and report to the Director Personalization & Loyalty. Your team is responsible for building meaningful connections with our (digital) customers. Your team will often partner up with our marketing leadership teams. And you will work in close alignment with our key functional teams such as IT, Legal, Procurement and a number of external partners.
Our main priority continues to be the health and safety of our employees and customers. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, this position will be remote until further notice. And specifically for this vacancy as a Personalization & Loyalty Manager, you have excellent analytical skills and the ability to think strategically. You supplement these skills with:
a master’s degree, preferably in marketing or business studies.
at least 7 years of experience working in Marketing with focus areas like loyalty, digital, CRM, project management and budgetary and at least 3 years of experience in a retail organization or marketing agency.
a good understanding of today’s digital customer, eco-systems and how businesses should adapt accordingly. You know what is necessary for defining and implementing loyalty programs.
