The Technical Specialist People Systems performs Integration activities on different People Systems supporting a number of different modules. The Technical Specialist People Systems researches, designs, documents, maintains and implements new Integrations in People Systems like Workday focussing on user experience, end to end data flow, and best practises. Responsible for implementing scalable and secure Integration in Workday along with fixing issues raised by the Business owners. Proactively monitors new features released by Workday and identifies and promotes changes to improve System design and user experience.
Solve incidents for People Systems Technical prioritising based on customer impact
Reach out to Senior Technical Specialist for Critical escalations
Collaborate with the team, Application Team and Tech Solutions Team
Provide technical support to Booking.com for People Systems Technical
Provide estimation of projects and enhancement
Prepare Documentation to support Compliance and Sox needs for every change deployed in production.
Monitor Reports, Integration schedules and failures and action accordingly.
Communicate and manage system outage and prepare RCA (Root Cause Analysis).
Shares knowledge with the team and the business
Communicate with Stakeholders on delivery, timelines, risk and impact
Perform unit testing and support user acceptance testing
Align with Application team and understand the configuration setup before start with integrations.
End to end ownership of providing solution after doing the risk assessment and checking SOx impact on People Systems controls
Supports Workday upgrades, Company Workbench on Workday Community
Represent Booking to Workday Community and bring back Best practices
Follows the team working agreements to stay aligned with the team processes
Explore, research and build new features as a Prototype for business demo.
Supports Workday Releases to understand new features rolling out, checking the impact, identifying new possible enhancements and regression testing for Automatically rolled out features relevant to the Technical Team and impacts to downstream systems.

Knowledge / Experience
At least 2-5 years of experience in the HRIS ecosystem, focused on Workday
Knowledge of various Workday Integrations tools e.g. Core Connector, Reports, Advance Studio, BIRT, PICOF, PECI WCP, Java script, XML/XSLT, and SOAP/REST API
Workday Integration Security, Dashboards, Calculated Fields, EIB and People Systems Landscape
Greenhouse scope: Knowledge of Greenhouse to support Integrations
SAP scope: Knowledge of SAP ABAP and SAP HR to support Integrations
