    People Operations Lead Europe- Maternity Cover (7 months Contract)

    Maternity Cover, 7 months contract with IDEXX

    Start date: 1st January 2021

    As People Operations Lead Europe, you will oversee all operational and transactional aspects of HR for the European organization of IDEXX (20 countries).

    Your team, containing of 8 People Operations Specialists and 2 interns, is managing the day to day activities for their assigned region and you are the escalation point for them when needed. You monitor your teams work distribution and progress via the available tools. You coach, manage and motivate your team and when needed support performance improvements. You are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and work along your team on the operational tasks.

    You oversee and coordinate European wide projects and you work closely with the Payroll Manager on the operational excellence in your region. You closely partner with other HR COE’s to ensure efficient and compliant rollout of new initiatives.

    You safeguard that our operating policies and procedures are executed in line with the strategic direction of the Global Operational Excellence team and any local statutory requirements.

    Reporting to the European Head of People Operations & Payroll, you have a key position within our European structure.

    What you will need to Succeed

    3-5 years’ experience in leading People Operations teams on regional level within a shared service center model
    Experience with Workday and a case management tool (Service Now)
    Experience in developing and reviewing HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and internal needs
    Excellent planning and organizing skills, with the ability to balance conflicting deadlines and priorities
    Excellent communication skills and ability to interact on all levels of the organization
    Excellent knowledge of English and other European language, both verbal and written
    Attention to detail with absolute focus on confidentiality
    Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
    Ability and experience in being flexible, pragmatic, tolerant and resilient with a positive attitude to change.
    You are a communicatively strong people manager with experience in managing international, diverse and, at this moment, virtual team
    You work quickly but accurately and know how to stay calm under great pressure.
