    In this role, you have the opportunity to

    play an instrumental role in ensuring first-time-right quality of PCBA’s (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) and electronic prototypes within Philips. Our prototypes are developed for the most-advanced medical devices serving a world-wide HealthTech business.

    You are responsible for

    As a PCBA Prototyping Planner you are a key interface for our internal customers. You complement our current front-desk team in project intake and preparation, timely execution and alignment with our customers.

    • Project in-take with customers, providing advice and guidance on prototype realization

    • Project planning (resource, equipment, materials), scheduling, cost estimation

    • Procurement of components and bare-boards for PCBA’s

    • Procurement of materials for electronic prototypes

    • Stock management of our in-house electronic parts store

    You are a part of

    Philips Innovation Services is a corporate group within Philips HealthTech, consisting of approximately 1000 passionate professionals in the field of Consulting, Engineering and other innovation services.

    Your group Electronic Design Services (EDS) is a part of the Reliability Solutions department and consists of a team of about 40 highly skilled technical professionals in the field of Electronic Design.

    The EDS group plays an instrumental role in establishing and leading a Philips-wide, global, Electronic Design Platform (schematics, PCBA design & technology), as well as global e-Component Management services. Both for internal and external customers it provides PCBA design & Fast Prototyping services.

    Your customers are mostly internal Philips businesses which are located globally.

    To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

    • Education in Electrical Engineering (MBO)

    • Expertise in electronic parts, including SMT/BGA/Connectors

    • 10+ years of experience in PCB Assembly processes

    • Experience with SAP, Ariba or comparable procurement systems

    • Strong computer skills MS Office (Word, Excel, Sharepoint) and planning tools

    • Ability to provide feedback and recommendations to electronic designers

    • Excellent communication skills and fluency in Dutch and English

    • Pro-active, can-do attitude, team player with a decisive and entrepreneurial attitude

    We consider the following experience as a plus:

    • Experience in PCBA design in Mentor Graphics Xpedition or similar PCBA CAD systems

    • Experience with X-ray equipment

    • Experience with PCBA design and technology
