    Operations supports the commercial activities of NIBC during the initiation phase of a transaction and delivers after-care until maturity.     The Payments & Control Team is part of the Shared Services Operations department. The team is responsible for Payments Services for all commercial businesses and offices of NIBC, in particular maintaining the Payments Infrastructure and monitoring, validating and reconciling incoming and outgoing payments. The Payments & Control team consists of 5 professionals with a diverse background, who are working across all disciplines.

    What will you do?
    Together with your team members your main activities will be:
    • Advising NIBC’s business units about NIBC’s payments services;
    • Setting up and maintaining online bank accounts and payments infrastructures;
    • Verifying clients & suppliers Standard Settlement Instructions;
    • Releasing high-quality payments using high-end payment systems;
    • Monitoring and reporting payments processes and suspense accounts in dedicated systems;
    • Solve breaks and exceptions in coordination with the business.

    Next to that we expect you to take actively part in projects and meetings to continuously improve our Payment and Control servicing:
    • Initiate, prepare and implement line improvements;
    • Contribution to department-wide initiatives;
    • Cooperation with other commercial departments, Finance, Operations and IT.

    Who are we looking for?
    A pro-active team player with a continuous improvement mentality, effective communication skills,
    strong analytical skills and a critical eye for quality and detail:
    • Interest in learning the high-quality Payments & Control services and domain;
    • Higher Vocational Education, preferably business economics or business administration;
    • Fluent in Dutch and English both verbally and written.

    The suitable candidate will be part of a dedicated team of professionals who together are responsible for the activities described above. In this role interacting and working together is
