As Travix Payment Specialist you will work as part the Payment Operations team and report to the Payment Operations Manager. You will be responsible for supporting the payment operation which sits at the core of our products, taking ownership of monitoring and improving their performance while working closely with colleagues in your team and in the wider payments, fraud and chargeback area.
Your key responsibilities
Responsible for monitoring the operation of our payment flows across all brands and channels
Ownership of the daily administration of the Payment Operations team from managing incoming requests and troubleshooting with other internal teams
Work closely with payment service providers, international payment acquirers, to ensure smooth operation of our payment flow;
Support the Payment Operations Manager and Payment Specialist to deliver against key initiatives;
Monitor and analyse key metrics and use data to drive improvement and identify new opportunities;
Actively initiate improvements to the payment processes and systems;
Compare and take proactive action based acquirer performance;
Identify innovative ideas to improve the customer experience of the payment process;
Identify & support to implementation of alternative payment methods in mature or emerging markets;
What you bring to the table:
Ambitious online payment professional who prefers to work in a high volume & high paced e-commerce environment;
Experience in an international e-commerce environment;
Bachelor or Master level in Finance, Economics or another relevant study;
Knowledge of key online payment operations and authorization processes;
Knowledge of global alternative payment methods an international cross border acquiring;
Strong analytical and reporting skills;
Strong communicative skills in English language, both verbally and written;
