    Partner Manager

    We are a fast growing global company, currently looking for a Partner Manager to join our Sales Team with the main responsibility of actively promoting and selling our products and solutions with and through partner channels, which will enhance the overall success and growth of the business will support.

    The role:

    As Partner Manager you develop, recruit and manage an active partner network to increase simPRO exposure in the market. You will track generated leads and opportunities, achieve assigned targets for profitable sales volumes and strategic objectives in assigned partner accounts. You will assist the Sales Team in closing sales generated from the channel, lead efforts to develop solutions that respond to customer needs, ensuring accurate documentation and communication of every stage of the channel partner lifecycle.

    Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

    • Gain core knowledge of simPRO software and products to best meet customer needs
    • Understand trade contracting and field service business workflows to promote product benefits
    • To consistently develop, recruit and maintain an active partner network around the simPRO
    • Generate exposure to new business
    • Become a champion and build important relationships with our existing channel partners (eg accountants, industry associations and wholesalers)
    • Prompt follow-up of all leads and opportunities to secure new business
    • Present information to groups with confidence in a way that engages, informs and reinforces the most important message
    • Forward and transfer leads to field staff according to sales plan
    • Assistance from field staff in closing the sale of leads generated from the channel
    • Monthly reporting on the channel activities, effectiveness and financial objectives per channel partner and the channel as a whole
    • Proactively leading and documenting a collaborative partner planning process that develops mutual performance goals, financial targets and critical milestones for a productive partner relationship
    • Participate in reviews and reporting on sales versus plan and forecast
    • Enabling the resources of the Sales and Marketing Teams to ensure new business success by achieving or exceeding personal sales goals and target leads, and closing by Outside Sales Representative
    • Giving advice to partners and prospects to ensure that the simPRO solution is a fit
    • Accurately and in a timely manner document customer requirements to ensure their expectations can be met within the boundaries of the software offered, customizations, implementation and training
    • Ensure customer acceptance and financial commitments are processed in a timely manner within sales processes and personal selling guidelines
    • Any additional duties as assigned by your supervisor

    Work & skills requirements:

    • 5+ years of experience in a similar, channel management or business development role
    • Experience with partner account management
    • Experience with working in a remote sales position
    • Experience working with business process software
    • Be willing to travel
    • Understanding of business processes and workflows
    • good understanding of internet based technologies and systems
    • Strong conflict management and problem solving skills
    • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong communication, negotiation and relationship building skills
    • Much attention to detail with regard to documentation and processes
    • Ability to work effectively under pressure and to perform well in a team dynamic
    • The ability to deal with multiple priorities and changing schedules
    • Inquisitiveness and enthusiasm
    • You should be able to stay in a stationary position up to 50% and move up to 50% in your remote workspace
    • To be able to continuously operate a computer, telephone and other office machines
    • To be able to exchange accurate information in all communications with customers

    Useful for success:

    • Operational knowledge of or experience in the service sector a big plus
    • Experience with CRM Salesforce a plus
    • Proficiency with Google Suite is a plus
    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
