This role will see you supporting our legal function. As a paralegal, you are an essential member of the team and will take a great deal of pride in the work you do. You are passionate about supporting our team across a great variety of work and no task will be too big or small. Your attention to detail and your ability to take initiative is what sets you apart.

Provide general support to the legal department, in particular for EU and UK
Work on exciting projects covering multiple jurisdictions
Supporting legal processes, operational excellence and continuous improvement of the legal function
Assist the team on managing compliance with the requirements under Airwallex’s licences in both EU and UK
Assist in reviewing and drafting legal documents and filings
Help coordinate various stakeholders on regulatory responses and regulatory inquiries
Ensure that our documents are filed with external regulators on time, maintain a logical internal document database and assist with broader Airwallex Group knowledge management
Prepare and arrange for agreements and other documents to be signed off and executed by relevant stakeholders
Assist the team in liaising with external service providers (e.g., law firms, translation firms, corporate secretarial agents)
Provide support on corporate secretarial matters
Expand your knowledge by working on various multi- jurisdictional projects at one of the fastest growing technology companies in the world
Skills and Requirements
LLB or LLM graduate
2+ years of experience as a paralegal, junior counsel or trainee lawyer
Excellent command of written and spoken English – other languages are a plus
Able to multi-task effectively, strong organisational skills and detail-oriented
Proactive, pleasant, team player, with strong communication skills
Proficiency in Word, Excel and Powerpoint
