    OTT Release Manager

    The OTT Release Manager is accountable for the delivery of complex, global, high-risk products and services, including ensuring end-to-end service testing and compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, can deal with numerous external partners and engage senior stakeholders.
    You will have Technical and Integration/planning involvement at all stages, for all streaming projects and releases to deliver end-to-end products and services, that have been tested functionally and end-to-end. Working closely with Product, Architecture, GDO and numerous Delivery teams.


    • Perform E2E technical project management, E2E Release Management & Change Control for Connectivity Products & Services to ensure timely completion
    • Working across all LG departments to deliver end-to-end tested products and services for Connectivity domain
    • Manage the process (towards) of technology component design, development, build and integration as well as network and IT integration
    • Perform E2E integration, including liaise with global markets to align on technical E2E delivery of products and services
    • Direct application and infrastructure security teams that are responsible for detecting, reporting and consulting on vulnerability management issues
    • Manage test defects lifecycle
    • Support Go/ No-Go project governance
    • Work with Technology vendors and IT/Network PM’s for overall delivery coordination and problem / bug reporting
    • Manage implementation defect / problem characterisation and Root Cause Analysis (pre-launch and L3)
    • Align test scope with Technology Testing team and regional (OpCo) test activities
    • Manage deployment and operational readiness in conjunction with the Service Transition & in-life teams
    • Provide engineering expertise to contribute to E2E design, investigate issues and coordinates resolution of issues and defects within technology and with external vendors
    • Where necessary, engage in hands-on support for project activities
    • Support Service transition and QA Team on investigation of P1 issues post launch
    • Identify, critically evaluate and champion opportunities for long term delivery improvement, including:
      • Simplification and standardization
      • Introduction of new delivery processes, such as scaled agile
      • Cost and support optimization
      • Identify cross team efficiencies


    • 5+ years’ line management experience with budget responsibility and senior management reporting
    • 5+ years’ experience with working in an international and distributed team environment
    • 5+ years’ experience in delivery management of large Pan-European implementation programs, with extensive knowledge and experience of technology development and delivery management methodologies
    • 10+ years’ experience in End-to-End System Integration of data / connectivity services
    • 10+ years’ experience in telecommunications or hi-tech industry and with knowledge on the following:
      • Cloud technologies
      • Software development, including App development
      • B2C CPE including DOCSIS / xPON / RFoG / WiFi & associated CPE SW / FW services
      • In home CPE peripheral devices, HW & SW and management / assurance (e.g. G.Hn / HPAV devices)
      • WiFi evolution, its management and assurance (RRM, SON)
      • Monitoring, Policy & Control Platforms (DPI, Probes, Content filtering, Parental Controls, Cable & WiFi PCRF, AAA, Radius)
      • IoT and Smart Home related technologies
      • Technologies and standards supporting convergence (Hotspot, EAP-SIM, EAP-AKA, ANDSF, etc...)
      • Is confident working with both senior management and engineers
