The D&E SI DE DUV Sequences & Manufacturing Integration group within the D&E system integration department is managing all D&E work preparations for producing, industrialization, recovering and installing Twinscan machines, and delivering the sequences related to that. Work preparation is defined in the 6P matrix: P1 Specification; P2 Tools; P3 Procedures; p4 Plant; p5 Skills & Knowledge; p6 Parts. Most of the 6P deliverables are the responsibility of other projects within Development & Engineering.
You are responsible to work towards operation excellence in sequence execution. You ensure the delivery of industrialized sequences and supporting deliverables, you to support the factory and customer support by maintaining, driving, initiating and implementing process and technical improvements of Development Engineering.
The Operations Process Engineer works in a system level project team for integration and industrialization, and interfaces between development projects and the internal customers: customer-support and factory.
Areas of Responsibility:
Drive, maintain and provide sequence execution related technical improvements to improve cycle-time, availability and operational costs.
Support engineers in their design work and user in their sequence execution, through standard design rules, processes, trainings & roadmaps, by creation and maintenance of rules and Way of Workings.
Proactively connect with stakeholders and transfer improvement ideas concerning structural technical problems, process issues and bottlenecks into improvement actions, involve other departments if applicable and drive these actions until successful implementation
Represent the system integration department towards Development & Engineering, CS, LAB, FAB and cross sector projects.
Coordinate sequence related escalations to functional clusters and support operational execution in securing production progress
Support in the verification and release of SQR tool functionality & content.
Bachelor or Master level – preferably technical, industrial engineering (BS in Optical, Electrical, Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, Applied Physics or Mathematics)
Experience in or affinity with either sequence engineering, system testing and integration
Experiences in semiconductor equipment development is a strong plus.
Multiple years working experience is an advantage.
Experience in a production environment with high tech products and complex production processes is preferred.
Experience in the field of Technical Work Preparation is an advantage.
