    Operations Coordinator

    Your role

    Fastned is continuously growing and we are therefore looking for a motivated and driven Operations Coordinator to take ownership of our maintenance and upgrade activities across Europe.     In this diverse role you will work across a variety of areas:

    • Issue detection and translation into concrete actions for the maintenance team: You gather input from the network operations and customer support team on potential charger issues, assess validity and priority and translate the needs into concrete actions for the maintenance team. You ensure that everyone has the information, spare parts and equipment needed to do the job.
    • Facilitate planning and provide guidance to internal and external teams: You will be responsible for adequate planning, work preparation and follow up of all maintenance related activities. You do this by providing guidance to our internal technicians and by working closely with external contractors.
    • Adequate documentation and reporting: You keep track of technical data in our maintenance software, manage budget and purchase orders, monitor progress vs plan and team efficiency.
    • Inventory management: You manage stock and spare parts, the tools inventory and certification.

    You will become a key member of the Operations team and you will be a driving force in scaling our network across Europe while keeping our charger uptime consistently high. The role will be based at our headquarters in Amsterdam and will require occasional visits to our stations, for which you can make use of our fully electric car park.

    Who we are looking for

    As our Operations Coordinator, you are a motivated problem solver who enjoys tackling operational challenges in a team environment. You feel comfortable taking initiative and can handle responsibility. You are not afraid to make mistakes and you are always seeking opportunities for improvement. Ultimately, your objective is to ensure that all stations are working efficiently and are accessible for our customers at all times. Additionally, you check the following boxes:

    • 2+ years' experience in a relevant role (operations, logistics, maintenance,..);
    • You hold at least a bachelor degree in a relevant field;
    • Strong problem solving and organizational skills;
    • Ability to work structured and prioritize your tasks efficiently;
    • Ability to be resourceful and getting things done;
    • Strong communicator in English, Dutch is highly preferred. German and/or French is a plus;
    • You are highly motivated to accelerate the energy transition;
    • Proficiency in Google Suite (Slides, Docs, Sheets) and Enterprise asset management systems is a plus;
    • Proficiency with data and reporting methodology is a plus.
