    NPI Quality Engineer

    BL RFP Business Quality supports the Product Lines Personal Health, Infotainment and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). We develop highly integrated Car Radio Systems ICs, Personal Health Hearing Aid ICS and Semiconductor products for medical diagnostic as well as Radar Frontend, Radar Microcontrollers and integrated RADAR System chips for the Automotive Industry. Technologies range from SiGe, ABCD to advanced CMOS (C28, FFET16). In many areas we are Market Leader or close to become Market Leader

    Within our team we are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced NPI Quality engineer, who will:

    • Prepare product Qualification strategies for BL RFP RADAR products and RF Systems on a chip as well as Frontend and Backend Process Qualification strategies

    • Own product qualifications and change qualifications till completion

    • Lead 8D teams to categorize and analyze non-pass qualification samples

    • Review and approve product compliance matrixes and validation strategies

    • Prepare and approve risk assessments from Quality engineering perspective

    • Support project milestones and gates with quality reports and assessments

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Monitoring and supporting the process compliance of development teams

    • Driving Zero Defect product development across the development sites of the assigned projects

    • Analyzing the product quality of development projects on an ongoing basis, determining gaps in WoW, organizational processes and suggesting improvement proposals.

    • Maintaining & deploying guidelines for automotive quality IC development that meet the needs of the business and customers

    • Auditing IC projects and subcontractors as well as creating processes and quality systems

    • Driving systematic improvements in the development process internal as well as at subcontractors (supplier quality management)

    • Preparing project BCAM gates from the development quality perspective.

    • Participating and representing quality in gate reviews and reporting identified, not properly mitigated risks to the Quality Manager

    • Customer interaction: Presenting the IC quality assurance process to customers, contributing to quality agreements, preparing development teams for quality assessments

    Your qualifications:

    • Master of Science in Microelectronic Engineering, Semiconductor Technology, Electrical Engineering or Chemistry

    • Semiconductor reliability competence and product qualification experience

    • Semiconductor / IC process domain competence for manufacturing, design methods an test methods

    • Practical Development Quality Engineering experience beyond 3 years in a Semiconductor company

    • Automotive Semiconductor Standards AEC-Q100, IATF16949, ISO26262 and practical experience with DFMEA, FMEA, FMEDA, 3x5 Why, PPAP
