Act as Medical Writing Lead on scientific publication or clinical regulatory documents, working closely with publication teams and internal regulatory teams
Conduct all activities related to the preparation of scientific publications including abstracts, posters/oral presentations and manuscripts
Operate as a subject matter expert within department for assigned therapeutic/product area
Provide direction and guidance to medical writers regarding assigned projects, including communicating deliverables, review of work products, identify and remove barriers
Convert and explain relevant data and information, in manner consistent with the target audience(s), journal/congress requirements, and/or clinical regulatory requirements
Maintain an expert knowledge of regulations, requirements and guidance associated with scientific publications or clinical regulatory document preparation and submissions
Bachelor of Science degree preferred, with significant relevant writing experience
Relevant industry experience in medical writing in the healthcare industry or academia required or in a related area such as quality, regulatory, clinical research
High-level content writing experience and experience with types of clinical publications or clinical regulatory documents
Excellent written and oral communication skills. Superior attention to detail. Ability to find and correct errors in spelling, punctuation, grammar, consistency, clarity and accuracy
Extensive experience in working with collaborative, cross-functional teams, including project management experience
