    What are we looking for;
    Nike’s Consumer Direct Sciences is a growing team responsible for building and deepening a holistic view of Nike’s consumers through data and analytics and applying those insights to advise smarter business decisions and the development of incredible digital content & experiences for our consumers.
    We are looking for someone obsessed with consumer insights, passionate about the science of marketing, media, communications and personalization, and adept at turning large volumes of data into simple and compelling insights and recommended actions!


    What will you be doing?
    • Answer strategic questions about marketing effectiveness and consumer behavior across all Nike experiences and marketing channels through advanced analytics
    • Understand the business/marketing strategy for seasonal and targeted marketing communications, analyze performance and educate business partners on how outcomes could be improved
    • Lead the analysis and understanding incorporating a wide variety of signals, data types, and sources
    • Shape analytics and research plans, developing appropriate quantitative methodologies, and driving the planning and execution of marketing and consumer analytics from end-to-end
    • Integrate qualitative & quantitative findings to define complete profile of digital consumer needs and preferences
    • Lead Learning Agenda and testing and experimentation with the marketing team, and develop Targeting best practice and Playbook, while implementing privacy standards and requirements with a broad range of business partners
    • Guide segmentation and targeting plans of marketing teams based on data driven insights and marketing best practice
    • Coordinate pilots of new models or strategies with stakeholders from direct marketing, media, membership, audience selection, analysts, and engineers as needed


    Who you will work with;

    You will partner with stakeholders across Consumer Direct Marketing, Integrated Media, and the Nike Direct business. You will also partner closely with other analytics teams with Nike Consumer Direct Sciences.

    What you will bring;
    • A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a Marketing Analytics role
    • Fluency in SQL (Hive) or similar experience in analyzing large structured and unstructured datasets is a must
    • An understanding of advanced analytics techniques; proficiency with statistical packages such as R, Python, MATLAB, etc.
    • Experience with statistical modeling techniques (Regression, Logistic Regression, Random Forest)
    • Experience working with data management, data processes and flows in large scale systems
    • Ability to use analytics to understand digital consumer behavior and see opportunities to accelerate growth
    • Adept at creative storytelling using data driven insights, and the ability to bring complex consumer data to life for non-technical marketing and business partners
    • Confident working with multiple marketing partners and leading multiple workstreams simultaneously
    • Go-getter with experience building positive working relationships and working in cross-functional teams with differing levels of analytics understanding
    • Bachelors or master’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Marketing or other quantitative field preferred
