As a Marketing Manager, you will develop and implement the overall strategic, tactic and operational brand plan and program for the Dutch and Belgium trade professional markets for our brand Sigma and Glidden. Moreover, you will take the lead in the development of new and existing products, promotions and services in order to effectively contribute to the achievement of the company’s business and marketing objectives.

This role will be based at either out Uithoorn office in the Netherlands or in Hasselt, Belgium.
Co-develop and manage the realization of the (annual) strategic and operational business and marketing plan of the brands based on customer insights and journeys, including pricing, product, communication, promotions and distribution strategies, implementation strategies and budgets.
Work closely with Center of Excellences, sales, shopper marketing and supply chain functions on forecasts, promotions, introductions, design, distribution and product specifications/changes as needed.
Brief, manage and evaluate media plans with media agency of the local brand activation campaigns. In cooperation with Center Of Excellence(s) where new campaigns are briefed and managed over the countries.
Responsible for the development, implementation, complexity reduction and management of data of the responsible assortments (both offline and online) of Sigma/Glidden in the Benelux – in close co-operation with the other marketing managers and specialist departments on article information.
Co-operate with technical departments to test (application and performance) to ensure the effective operation and production or deletion of new, revised or old products and services.
Develop, participate in and evaluate market research and analysis, promotions and advertising.
Manage the website(s) for your brand Sigma Coatings and Glidden.
Minimum of 5 years marketing experience of which a minimum of 3 years in a leading consumer brands marketing position within a retail oriented environment, preferably in fast moving consumer goods.
Ability to manage multiple projects with varying priority at the same time, to deliver results on time and within budget
Hands on mentality and a "can-do" attitude. Result-oriented, able to detect and exploit opportunities, you are not afraid to take the lead
Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
Business fluency in English, average in French.
